The Society presents four main productions a year in Heswall Hall, in October, November, March and May, with a play for children in January. The Society also produce a one act play each year which is entered in a number of local festivals and the All-England Theatre Festival, several times having reached the English Final, winning, most recently in 2001, with The Art of Remembering and winning the British One-Act Play Festival in 1985 with Skirmishes.

Recent productions have included Snake in the Grass, Happy Families, The Witches, Breezeblock Park, The Constant Wife, I Can't Remember Anything, A Doll's House, Black Comedy and Elegy for a Lady (Double Bill), Fantastic Mr. Fox, Canterbury Tales and Quartet.

Auditions for the plays usually take place in June/July for the first three productions and December for the remaining two productions of the season and the festival play.
